Since 2017, Osen Hospitality has proudly served refined Japanese cuisine rooted in tradition and elevated with a modern touch. What began as a passion for quality and craftsmanship has grown into a successful restaurant group in California, operating three flagship concepts: Izakaya Osen, Osen Urban Table and Zui by Osen.
We are excited to continue our growth with the upcoming launch of Osen Urban Table, located at Canopy at Great Park in Irvine. This new concept is designed for the next generation of diners, offering approachable pricing and a vibrant selection of shareable small plates in a dynamic, social setting.
At Osen, we are committed to sourcing the freshest seafood daily and delivering an experience that goes beyond the ordinary. Our menu highlights expertly prepared sushi, signature kushiyaki, and comforting nabe, all thoughtfully paired with an extensive selection of wine, sake, and Japanese craft beer. With years of culinary expertise and a deep respect for ingredients, every dish is prepared with precision and sincerity.

Chef Damon Cho is a distinguished culinary expert with over 18 years of experience in the restaurant industry. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in California, he refined his craft at globally recognized establishments including Nobu, Four Seasons, and Tao, where he developed a strong foundation in culinary excellence and hospitality.
In 2009, Chef Cho opened his first Japanese restaurant in San Francisco, followed by a second successful location in 2012. Guided by his belief that dining should be an experience that brings people together, he founded Izakaya Osen in Silver Lake in 2017. Building on its success, he expanded to Irvine in 2022 and introduced Omakase by Osen, further showcasing his dedication to refined and authentic Japanese cuisine.
Today, Chef Cho continues to lead the growth of the Osen Group with upcoming concepts including Osen Urban Table and Zui by Osen. His commitment to quality, innovation, and warm hospitality remains at the heart of every dining experience he creates.
